Evanston Online, like so many new media companies is experimenting and trying new items and elements in an attempt to find what works best for our site visitors and members.

We invite your comments, opinions and suggestions below. Currently, we offer the following news and media options:

• Evanston Online TV - We are please to provide Evanston with a local online television station offering programming that matters to Evanston. Evanston Online news, Evanston City Council Meetings, local interest programming and soon locally created entertainment and talk shows.  
  This channel offers continually rotating programming and will also soon begin offering live programming that will allow users to interact with the host or show directly.
  Evanston Online TV also offers on demand programming that allows you, the viewer to select which show you want to watch on your schedule.
• News:
  • Evanston Online TV News - a hyperlocal weekly video news program presented by Heidi Umbhau that only presents news pertinent to Evanston, IL
  • Citizen Journalist - We invite you to write about what matters to you and provide the opportunity for other Evanston Online members to comment, expand or provide additional views
• Evanston Online Radio - Although still in development, Evanston Online Radio offers localized radio programming that is available live and on demand.
• Photo's and Videos - We invite our members to submit their photo's and video's.
• Evanston Community Media Center - Evanston has a tremendous resource in creating media. We invite you to view ECMC programming - both streaming of Evanston Local cable Channel 6 and on demand programming.
