3 on 3 charity hoops tournament

The Justin Wynn Leadership Academy’s annual 3-on-3 basketball tournament will be from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 6 at Beardsley Gym, Evanston Township High School.

Come enjoy some hoops and help raise money for two worthy causes:  Lighthouse for the Blind and the Evanston Animal Shelter.

The tournament is open to third- through sixth-graders. All teams will play a minimum of two games. The cost is $5 per player and $3 per spectator.

Form your own team or register as a single and you’ll be assigned to a team. You may sign up in advance by e-mailing your team’s name, grade and names of players to jwla-bball@gmail.com or you may sign up the day of event beginning at 1 p.m.
